Forget Time and AOL, I’m more interested in the merger of The Business Insider and Gawker.

Gawker editor Anthony De Rosa noticed this first (obviously) and I dutifully tweeted about, wondering if some sort of explanation would be forthcoming.  Is this an example of Gawker’s new publishing platform at work or has Business Insider worked out a content syndication deal with Gawker?

I liked Gawker when it was scared to death of resembling other sites. I guess the incessant differentiating of the same gets it more attention nowadays.
